    HELPFUL FOR BEGINNERS

Before reading this I played 3 times in a casino and lost. Now I am a consistent winner in the low stakes limit tables at the Foxwood Casino. I feel this book has given me a good basic understanding and boosted my confidence enough to graduate to higher stakes and no limit tourneys real soon !

    Great Book

At first I was ok at poker and won a few bucks. After reading this book my friends all quiver in fear when I sit down at the poker table. I really got good, and always take my friends money.

    Great Author

Before reading his second edition of this book, I was an okay poker player. Not great by any means, but I could beat people I know, and hold my own. After several days of reading this book, I came 1st in an 800 person multi table tournament at ultimatebet.com. That's good results for ya.

    A good hold'em book

A good read, though it focuses on low-limit hold'em. Just apply the advice to no-limit hold'em and you have a great book.
