Meet the Author

As one of Canada's leading pharmacists, Sherry Torkos is well known for her knowledge and expertise in both conventional and complementary medicine. Sherry graduated with honors from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1992. Since that time, she has been practicing pharmacy. She has won several national pharmacy awards for distinguished practice and for providing excellence inpatient care.

Placing in strong emphasis on the role of nutrition, exercise and supplements in optimizing health and preventing disease, Sherry is active in providing educational programs for the public and other health care professionals. She is a certified fitness instructor and health enthusiast who enjoys sharing her passion with others.

Sherry is recognized in the media as an authority on health matters and is frequently featured on television and radio programs throughout North America.
