Winnoby Cabin
Previously published under the title "Devil's Digs." As with her debut novel, Ms. Walding quickly realized the original title and cover of her second novel didn't reflect the poignant love story contained within, and opted for a more suitable title. Winnoby Cabin is a continuation of the story contained in Pastor McAlester's Bride. However, it can be read and enjoyed thoroughly as a stand-alone novel.

"Casey and Edward McAlester uncover a mystery that will forever bind their family to the Gregory family . . . while at the same time their son, Barrett, is thrust into instant fatherhood.

They move to a peaceful community in the mountains of eastern Oklahoma in search of a tranquil life and find just the opposite when the discover Winnoby is Satan's chosen home away from home. The Evil One's minions set out to stop the McAlester's influence on the few remaining faithful and, at all costs, stop Casey from writing the book God has called her to write. The heinous Satan-worshipping inhabitants of the community are eager to join in the battle against all that's good and holy.

Barrett falls in love with Jenna, a beautiful Native American girl whom the Prince of Darkness has already chosen for his bride when his reign over earth comes. When the McAlesters try to escape the deadly trap set by the townsfolk and take Jenna with them . . . the gates of Hell can't contain the Evil One's rage.

Three love stories inside one cover, with plenty of action and excitement.

About the Author

Ms. Walding began her writing career providing articles to major magazines. Subject matter ranged from clock repair, tower clocks, and antique clocks to life after retirement. But twenty-five years in the ministry with her Pastor husband provided a much more fulfilling subject . . . the Lord Himself. It was at His urging to share her interest and experiences in spiritual warfare that led her to write her first novel. Her goal is to write a novel a year for as long as He provides the ability.

After having served in Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas, Lynne and her husband retired in the Piney Woods of East Texas with their dog, Sarah and the assorted wildlife that visits their creek, in view from their deck. Their children and grandchildren live close by, making it the ideal retirement location.
