    Great concise useful guide

I had the previous edition of this excellent resource and was pleased to see it was available as a Nook Book (which makes it easier for me to access). This handbook is authoritative and useful. Information is sourced so you can assess it's strength, and is written in a style familiar to those who use drug handbooks. It combines the best of both worlds - traditional uses of complimentary and alternative compounds as well as a more scientific and medical approach to their use. The common and scientific names of the herbals makes it clearer just which plant is referenced, reducing confusion. Dosages are included as are precautions and known drug/herb interactions. A great addition to any practitioner's bookshelf (or Nook!).
