A WINTER HEART, A Sensual Amish Historical Novella

The condensed version of A WINTER HEART appears in The Mammoth Book of Ghost Romance titled JONQUILS IN THE SNOW

In Ohio, Hannah Peachy has nurtured a winter heart since she lost her newborn daughter, husband, and twin sister, in a carriage accident that she caused. In Pennsylvania, Caleb Skylar struggles with the horror of his wife’s drowning, and his six-year-old daughter’s memory-induced nightmares. When Caleb aimlessly pulls up stakes and leaves his home behind, Anyah Peachy, the spirit of Hannah’s earthbound twin, leads him straight to Hannah. But how can two bruised souls, determined never to wound or be wounded again, accept love as a reward for their transgressions?

“What a beautiful and heart-warming love story!” —Penelope Williamson, New York Times Bestselling Author of THE OUTSIDER, book and movie.

“This is one of the best romances I have ever read—the writing is so good that I understood what it felt like to be Amish, almost even wanted to be Amish! And Jacob is so sexy. Great

Loved this very sweet short story. I wanted more after the end of the story though. I will have to read more by this author.

    Just OK

I don't believe I would read another book by this author. Everything about this story was so predictable. The characters are bland and have no depth. Thank goodness this novella is so short (and cheap) it would be difficult to read more. She's no Beverly Lewis.
