Hackneyed story of damsel in distress in remote cabin at midwinter facing deadly murderous threats might pass muster for a quick read with stringent proofreading. Lifetime Movie of the Week without benefit of editor.

I guessed the ending around the middle of the book, but it was still a very good read.

The word is BROUGHT ---- not bought. The spelling and grammatical errors ruined this for me. It was very difficult to follow the story when "he" was used continually when the writer meant "she". Spell check only works on misspelled words---- not on correctly spelled but incorrectly used words.

This could have been a good story. Had a good base but I was so confused throughout the whole book. It was poorly edited, a lot of misspellings and lack of punctuation. It was hard to determine where one persons thoughts stopped and another began. Needs some work and it could be so much better. Its free though so I cant complain too much :)

I really enjoyed reading Winterland. I was on the edge throughout the book wondering what will happen next. The end got me the most...This book is very entertaining, it's a must read. Enjoy!!!

I would NEVER read another book by this author.
I only finished it because once I start a book I always stick with it to the end. This one almost caused me to fail in that resolve.
Needless to say I would never recommend it or the author to anyone!

Terrible book. Reads like a junior high school short story essay. Too
many grammar and spelling mistakes. I gave it 1 star because it was
FREE. Don't waste the space on your Nook.

A chilling tale, but why wasn't there editing? The story kept
my interest but I was distracted by grammer and spelling mistakes. "Wrest" means to pry something away, but it was used 3 times in place of "rest".

This book could not have been proof read due to all the mistakes in it. Wrong words were used and other words were mispelled. I do not recommend this to anyone, everyone in it is evil!

I did not like this book. The main reason was that everyone was evil. I like to read about some goodness in at least one character.
