Overview

Winter Allison Reeves who was a tom boy during her juvenile years matured into a beautiful young lady with voluptuous curves, smooth caramel complexion, a wisp of feminine grace and a cunning glow of beauty. She captivated the eyes of the beholders, and without effort, swept susceptible men off their feet.

Aaron Dean Newton was the epitome of good looks, the walking dreams of every girl and the envy of guys everywhere. He was handsome with honey brown complexion, soft, thin jet black hair; a deep toned body with muscular venous hands, and is described as soft spoken, reserved and very confident. Winter and Aaron met in high school and were deemed inseparable. Aaron had eyes only for Winter and promised to marry her after medical school. They got married immediately after she graduated from law school while Aaron was in the last year of medical school. Within their fifteen years of marriage, Winter and Aaron aspired and planned to have kids, however, with each attempt, the union did not produce any kids causing a devastating breakdown in their marriage and at the same time was threatened by outside interests.

Keith Pendleton, a Firefighter by profession, was Winter's long lost high school crush and sweetheart thought he had finally found the woman of his dreams when he ran into Winter but clearly, she is married.

Megan Iris, a redhead divorced RN at the hospital where Aaron works, confided in her friend that one day she will marry the handsome doctor.

Throughout all this, Winter's best friend Missionary Amy Renée Reeves was relentless in her support of her friend staying in her marriage to Aaron and ending her affair with Keith before it's too late.

Will their marriage survive their tumultuous affairs? Will Winter's best friends Amy stick by her and help her to realize her true love? One thing is certain, Winter, Aaron, Keith and Megan are all playing with fire, and, without question, someone is bound to end up getting burned.

This book caught my attention from the beginning. Stories about love are always of interest when they are so closely related to life as we, the readers, know it. No details of the characters lives were left out. I did not have to wonder about anything as there were no gaps. The storyline flowed smoothly with just enough twists and turns to make for a great read. I also noticed the detail which the author used to describe the area (s) in which this story took place. I highly recommend this book to readers that like romance mixed with drama. I'm also looking forward to the sequel. The sneak preview definitely makes me want to read it. I also must say that the poetry was good as well. Zandra Barnes AAMBC Reviewer

Winter's Kisses the first novel written by Pauline Rose Evans is about high school sweethearts who marries and what happens to their lives over the years. It's also a stirring piece of literature which focuses on a serious issue that is running rampant, and how a family overcomes and survives the dark cloud that hovers over their lives. Mrs. Evans brings you into each character so you can feel their anguish. I liked that the book gives a first-person, first hand account of the characters experiences, thoughts and feelings. The other characters ties in perfectly as the story unfolds. The book teaches you that if you have Faith any thing is possible. Winter's Kisses is a book that I will gladly recommend
