There are books you discuss, books you recommend, and books you love so much, you buy them for other people. Wired That Way is certainly in that third category.
This book deeply enlightens and exposes us to the variations of everyone's personality. It shows a way to truely see one another in a spiritual light, and finally, truely accept one another for whom they really are! It contains a breakdown of each personality type, and articulately explains every relationship combination: marriage, work, friendship, and even children!
As a dance coach and a business owner, I've come across some people that normally I would have instantly cut from the team or severed business ties, because, well... They weren't more like me. Its a problem so many people run into. As a result they destroy valuable relationships in the process. Reading this book has allowed me to make relationships, with people I couldn't stand, into near friendships!
Im (powerful choleric/ perfect melancholy). Not sure what that is? Read the book!
Wired That Way is an underground sensation that brings to light the real truth about people: The world needs all of us.
A must read and a diamond in your leadership collection.

I think this has been a great book to not only help you identify your unique personality but to also learn about others around you. It helped me learn to understand others more deeply instead of the typical surface information and challenge me to interact with others in a way that met their personality needs. It's a whole lot of fun to read and laugh about the quirky things that make up our personalities. I learned a great deal about myself and enjoyed the little stories she had between her and her husband. A great start to learning personality types! Was this review helpful? As a professional speaker who spends her days empowering others with the skills they need to build better relationships through improved communications, I'm just thrilled that Marita has updated her personality materials into one compelling resource. I've been recommending her books for years, and now 'Wired that Way' is sure to become the primary foundational resource I will strongly recommend to everyone who is serious about communicating effectively with others! Wired That Way will enrich your life as you allow yourself and others to be the persons you were created to be. One personality is not better than another each has strengths and weaknesses. I love what Marita Littauer says in Chapter Three: 'Take some time to get to know the basics of your Personality. Look at your strengths and build them up, and then work to whittle away your weaknesses.' There's work to be done, and this book can help us do it.--Anita Lee Writer, Speaker, Personality TrainerWas this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Marita's new book 'Wired That Way' combines in one place the resources anyone needs to build better relationships and understand oneself. With my business name as 'Word Wardrobe,' I ask the question in my speaking and writing, 'What kind of words do you wear?' Wired That Way provides myriad examples relating how we often hurt people's feelings who have different personalities than our own. Because my emphasis is on words and the response those words bring, I'm excited to share in my Personality Trainings one comprehensive book which meets the needs of everyone. After reading this book, no one will be able to blunder through life slaying people with their words. Glenda Schoonmaker, Writer, Trainer, and SpeakerWas this review helpful?
