I can't ever remember the right Bible verse right when I need it. And by the time I've found it, the moment has passed and it's not quite so effective. Ginger Plowman's reminders of the right heart-probing questions to ask for the right situation are so helpful, and the Bible verses that go along with it give the support for my correction. I love to give it as gifts to other moms and keep it handy to use in the household.

Zero Stars from me. Ms. Plowman needs to take some basic coursework in child development. Parenting children as she advocates is emotionally harmful and interferes with learning and brain development. If she is a true Christian she would adhere to Christ's teachings, not those of the Old Testament. Christ said to treat others as you would like to be treated and this includes children. He held children in the highest esteem and never advocated hitting them with a rod or anything else. Can you really picture Jesus Christ spanking a child. I can't.
