I Want to thank the publisher for my free copy of this book for my honest review.
This book is a wonderful start to a new series for young fantasy lover.

With stunning illustrations through out this book. This was a pleasurable read and I did not want the story to end. I like the characters Soli and Lucy because they are well written and realistic. They are facing real-life problems and their friendship is tested. I admire their loyalty through out this book and their courage.
I loved how the amazing illustrations brought the faeriegrounds to life and wished I could get pulled into them at times too. I recommend this book to all fantasy readers young and young at heart who is looking for a quick read with an incredible visual aspect too.

This book is not at all what I had expected. I loved the gorgeous full color illustrations throughout the story. The simple writing bordered on minimalist and I thought it was a little too basic for the intended age group. I enjoyed the plot and the way the characters are entwined, but I wished the writing had more substance to it.

It also ended very abruptly. I turned the last page, expecting more, only to find the author bio.

    Wishes really do come true.

This story is a beautiful example of a fun and lighthearted young adult book. Many of the YA book today are dark romances and have the well known bad boy, but this one is different and it was one of the things I liked most. There was whimsy, danger, and two best friends who would do anything to save each other. The emotion packed into these pages was heartwarming and sweet. I also enjoyed the meeting the different creatures and learning more about the faerieground.

The voices of these two characters were different and yet complemented each other. I really liked hearing both of their POV’s. I also liked how real their characters were and seeing the depth of their friendship. I could easily have pictured me and my best friend when we were that young.

I would recommend this book to all age groups, but especially to the younger generation of girls who I think would really enjoy the whimsy and magical feeling of Faerieground.
