I didn't really like the ending

it was really sad that shuichiro died but i didnt like the fact that he would be reincarnated again. i wish that kohaku would go with koryu instead. i dont like shuichiro's character. but i guess if it were to end the way i wanted it to be, the title wouldnt be called wish anymore. I wish it would end like this: Shuichiro dies, Kohaku is in pain, BUT when he becomes reincarnated again he does not love kohaku the same way as the old shuichiro. he moves to a new house and marries another woman. kohaku becomes heartbroken. Koryu becomes worried about her and both the angel and the devil notice that both of them have gotten more mature. kohaku realizes a new love (Koryu) but knows she can never be with him. Koryu thinks the same way knowing that he'll never be with kohaku because she still loves shuichiro. the conflict later would be that some demons from hell, knowing that koryu likes kohaku, try to bring him back to hell but he refuses. He protects Kohaku from being killed by them but gets very weak. In the end, they realize their feelings for each other and stay together.

    short and sweet

I was surprised at first by how short this was, but I was sooo delighted because it was sweet and really dramatic. It's not really cliche 'happy' and 'happy endings,' but even if you don't fall for it, I don't think anyone could DISLIKE it. It's THAT good. Haha

    Wish: The best of CLAMP

Possibly the best and saddest manga I've ever read, and probably will ever read! CLAMP is simply amazing their best manga in my opinion. I loved (though i cried! . ) how in parts of the book the situation seemed hopeless, but then was able to end happy. Many manga 'happy endings' are so cheesy that they're sickening, but this one is purely delightful, considering all the hardship the characters faced during this book (as well as the entire series). Also, this book, and the whole serries, isn't horribly innapropriot, doesn't contain mega ammounts of violence, and is just a fun story that everyone who is a fan of CLAMP (or just manga in general) should get to read!

It was cute, loving...but terribly sad in some parts...

It was really funny in some parts...and I was kinda caught off card with the end. Every time Kokuyo tried to explain what was different about Shuichiro he always got interrupted and it got me a bit frustrated. Truthfully, I liked reading the other three a bit more than this one because it was heart wrenching in the end, but you have to face the facts sometimes. All in all it was cute, even if everytime I finish a series of Manga I get a slightly hollow feeling inside (-.-;). I hope that anyone who chooses to read it isn't too over emotional..
