Meet the Author

Robert Brookover retired after a thirty-five year career in the pastoral ministry to pursue his love of writing. He is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and Boston University School of Theology. While serving in Elkton, Woodstock, Winchester, and Manassas, Virginia, descendants of The War Between the States shared their family lore, letters, and journals with him. He amalgamated that material into this four-part historical fiction series.
