Overview

In this enchanting tale, little Chloe experiences the joys of being discovered by Maia, a particularly beautiful star that shines down on her from the night sky, and requests a lovely wish. Donna Mayers is a writer, editor, and educator. Donna has had over 25 years of experience in staff and freelance positions at companies and organizations such as Merck, John Wiley & Sons, MarketResearch.com, Reader’s Digest, Scholastic, McGraw Hill, and Forbes, and Food Management magazines.
As an educator Donna has had extensive experience as an English teacher, with expertise in curriculum development, instructional resources, administrative policies, and community relations. As a tutor, she has worked with all primary and secondary grades, as well as college and adult levels. As a corporate trainer, she has instructed and coached staff in procedures, policies, federal regulations, protocols and documentation.
Donna is an Honors graduate, with a B.A. in English and Secondary Education. She also has years of graduate studies in children's literature and computer technology.
