I really enjoyed Wish Upon a Cowboy! The plot had a few twists that I didn't expect and it kept my interest to the very end. Throw in a hot cowboy and you've got a wonderful read. I read A LOT of romance books so it's great to find a plot that isn't cookbook. The steamy parts are tasteful and I would recommend this to people who love an interesting story with characters you care about.

But it could have used some editing. A 250 - 300 page at best stretched out to 600 pages. Also the hero played a little too hard to get. His resistance to the heroine became tiresome. Especially when it was founded on the old I lost my wife in childbirth 10 years ago and I'll never get over it theme. This has been done to death in westerns. Unfortunately I'm sure there are cases where that happens. However it's not a fun romantic read when the girl spends three quarters of the book groveling to get a crumb of attention from the guy.
