This book was an excellent read! I couldn't put it down because it was sooooo good! Well, that explains why I finished it so fast. I would recommend this to anyone who loves realistic magic. This book is best to be read by people ages 8+. The mood in this story seems to be a mixture of happieness
and sadness. Ivory is sad her favorite present always comes from her grandmother and she thinks that for her 13th birthday her grandmother didn't get her a present. Now she finds a card from her that has clues on where to find her present. Ivory is determind to find all of the clues that will lead her to the present now that her grandmother is sick in the hospital. Ivory eventually finds all the clues, and most importantly the present; in the wishing field. Her present is diaries of her grandmothers life, which is especially important to her now that her grandmother has died. You should buy this book! It was definetly worth the money!
