Jeanne TrinerThis time-travel suspense novel has an extra twist. Not only does the narrator, Abbey Harmon, find herself traveling back to the days of the Salem witch trials, but also she leaves her own reality in 1963, giving teen readers a good look at what life was like when their parents were in high school. Staub provides a good mix of history, humor, and romance as well as a high level of suspense without gratuitous violence as Abbey searches for a way to alter history and save Felicity Crane and an unidentified stranger (who turns out to be Abbey herself) from being hung as witches. Abbey is intelligent, witty, and believable, without being too good to be true. The 1960s family dynamic is right on target, and the author handles the vagaries of time travel in a convincing and consistent manner. A refreshing step-up from much that's available for young adults who read horror fiction.

i loved reading this book. If you're going to read one book that involves magic and want to stay down to earth, pick this book up, do whatever you can to read it. Everything that makes a good book is combined into this book, making it amazing...
Witch Hunt is sooo the bomb, that when I first started reading it I couldn't stop till I was in the middle of the book. It is outstandin! It's about witches, history, a magic closet room, spells. everything a witchcraft is about. Of course, there's also romance, family situations. Of course, moving to an old-two-story-looking-haunted house, two annoying brothers, isn't exactly where you'd like to live. But, once you find yourself knowing that the house has a past that you want to uncover, you will find out. But to get youself out of it... will be the problem.
This book came out a few years ago, when I was in high school.( I am now 21) When I got the book I could not stop reading it. Then the unthinkable happened, I lost the book! I searched every where for this book and I just couldn't find it. So I never got to see if Abby ever got to help Felicity or if she even made it out herself. Thank you BN for finally getting this book.
