Meet the Author

Olivia Hardin always realized how strange she was to have complete movie-like character dreams as a child. Eventually she began putting those vivid dreams to paper and was rarely without her spiral notebooks full of those mental ramblings. Her forgotten vision of becoming an author was realized when she connected with a group of amazingly talented and fabulous writers who gave her lots of direction and encouragement. With a little extra push from family and friends, she hunkered down to get lost in the words. A native Texas girl, Olivia lives in the beautiful Lone Star state with her husband and their puppy Bonnie.

I got this book as a kindle freebie on Amazon. It sat on my shelf for a while until one day I came across it and decided to finally pick it up. Yeah, so I am glad I did.

*Kent* *sigh* You've gotta appreciate a sexy guy in any book. To be a fly on the wall in many scenes of this book, I would love to be. I liked his character and his part of the story that unfolded as the book continued.

I was a little sad that Devan jumped so headfirst into everything that was thrown at her. She was just too accepting of all the life altering changes that went on. Devan was adaptable yes, but also a little suicidal in my opinion.

The plot to the book was fast paced and enjoyable. I never felt like the story lagged at any point. I read this book in a day. The storyline was fresh and I loved the inclusion of all the different types of magical creatures. There were fairies, vampires, witches and bad guys selling people. What more could you want in your characters?

This was a great adult paranormal read. I would recommend it to all lovers of this genre. Because it's made with awesome sauce, I give it four glittery stars:)

    Fantastic paranormal

I loved this book! Olivia Hardin does an excellent job in describing her characters to the point that you feel like you know them. I loved that Devan was a strong female lead and the steamy moments between her and Kent. This was very well written and edited and i'm very much looking forward to the next in the series!

    Decent Story

    Worth reading.
Has a bit of a different take on witches, which is what I liked the most about it. It was a little confusing at first, but things started making sense the more I read. Will probably read more in the future from this author.

All I can say is I loved this book. This has become one of my favorite
new series for the year and an author to watch. From the beginning you
are pulled into the story. You meet Devan, who is on a mission, personal
but serious. You meet Kent, who is on the same mission but with
different orders ad priorities. Devan does not know who or what she is.
But Kent's friend and coworker, Langston, does. We see them all come
together to achieve their goals. And to watch Devan learn to control and
use her talents. This was just a great start to a new series. One that
I can not wait to read more of. The story is well done and put together
and the characters are interesting and fun to watch. If you like
paranormal check this out right away and keep this author on your watch
    list.

Olivia Hardin¿s writing style reminds me a bit of Jacquelyn Fran

Olivia Hardin’s writing style reminds me a bit of Jacquelyn Frank’s in that a passage might focus on one character’s point of view, but we could still shift slightly to know what others are thinking or feeling. The tone of the story is also reminiscent of JF by having fairly demure love scenes and a big focus on the characters, story, and world itself rather than the individual events that transpire, such as every little thing during a fight scene.

As for the story, it grips you from the beginning by throwing you directly into the middle of a mission that Devan, Kent, and crew are on. It adds mystery by being vague and not telling you anything about what’s going on. My only problem with this was the fact that it stayed that way for the first few chapters before slowly beginning to give you some insight into what’s going on, and it take quite a while before revealing the larger, overall conflict in the big picture. This also made the validity of some of their plans come into question, because without knowing the truth, you can’t understand how a certain strategy could ever be viable.

Moving on to the characters, I like Devan and Kent, was suspicious of Roon at first, but ultimately I think Langston (aka Andre – read to find out why, you’ll love the reference!) was my favorite. The connection and chemistry between the characters was very believable and often made for some funny moments. Let’s face it, no one is truly comfortable with someone, even your best friend, knowing what you’ve been up to for…hours upon hours *wink*.

My favorite part of the whole thing though was the world. It was complex, it includes different species, and the potential for so much more. The possibilities of what to expect are truly endless in both the plot and the magic.

Mysterious, exciting, and mesmerizing, Witch Way Bends will take you on a magical journey where everything is possible and you should be ready for anything. Don’t miss this great start to a series with so much potential!

Wow! You'll want more... I can guarantee!

The beginning was a little slow and confusing and the entire story a little TOO scenery descriptive, but the more I read, the more I realized I couldnt put it down until it was done! You, Ms. Hardin, are a very talented author which, I for one, cant WAIT to read more of your wonderful enchantting stories :)

    Stick with it

As you begin reading, you will keep thinking, "What's going on?" You'll wonder if there is a prologue or a previous book that you missed. Stick with it. All will be revealed. Unlike most books you've read, the author doesn't include a lot of backstory or flashbacks. You learn things as the characters discover them. It's a different approach, and I enjoyed it.

400+ nook pages. Typical paranormal romance. Sexy. Recommend.

    Why can't the heroine

Ever be strong? Pranks were funny but Quinn was unappealing coward. Dress it up any way you like, Ms. Wolfe, that supposed self-sacrificing altar of Elise being better off quickly palled.

I was very skeptical in the beginning of this story because it feels like you start in the middle of a story. It works though because you learn a bit more towards the end that pulls it all together. Devan, who believes she is an ordinary woman, is working with a group of men set out to destroy a group called the Org. Devan has personal ties to this group because her father is one of them. Kent, Nicky, and Langston all have gifts that help support their cause. Devan soon learns that she is no ordinary human, she is a special witch part fae, one that has never been heard of before. Devan is the key to bring the human world and the fae world together. Devin will need help from her friends to get answers on who she really is but also to take down a master vamp that wants her blood. This story has witches, vampires, and the fae in it. So if you like the paranormal, you get a bunch. This story is unique and I haven't read anything like it before which is refreshing.
