I purchased this book after a recommendation from another site, and I am so glad I did. I believe it's a "must have" for folks who are weary of wicca and its off-shoots and want information that isn't tainted by a personal agenda on Traditional Witchcraft and Cunning. Set aside the stupid controversy over the author, because this book really helped me to clarify my questions, the answers, and many many other things I hadn't even thought of. Mr. Harris wrote a real gem here, and the more I read it, the more I discover. This is one book I will not lend out, but love to quote from. He shares not only his personal perspective, but he also gives information under one cover that I usually have to look up in several books. It's clear without being dumbed down,it's interesting and informative, and he wisely sets your mind in motion to discover for yourself if what he is sharing is valid. In it, he gives ways to make your "discovery" experiential, which I totally need and appreciate. I have highly recommended this book to several people, and I am anxiously awaiting his next book, due out on May 1st, 2009, " Liber Nigri Solis". Christine
