Bishop George Bloomer is a native of Brooklyn, New York. After serving as an evangelist for fourteen years, he began pastoring in 1996. Bloomer is the founder and senior pastor of Bethel Family Worship Center in Durham, North Carolina, but he continues to travel extensively, sharing with others his testimony of how the Lord delivered him from a life of poverty, drug abuse, sexual abuse, and mental anguish. He is the author of a number of books, including the best seller Witchcraft in the Pews. He also conducts many seminars dealing with relationships, finances, stress management, and spiritual warfare. Bloomer is founder of Young Witnesses for Christ, a youth evangelistic outreach ministry with several chapters on college campuses through the United States, and bishop of C.L.U.R.T. Wow, this guy is ridiculously out-of-context and not very literate. Anyone who believes what he writes does not have a lick of sound doctrine themselves and just believes what is preached from any pulpit. First of all, "the devil is a lie" is different from "the devil is a liar", which changes the entire context of a scripture. Please, read the Bible, and the correct commentaries from educated theologians, who have studied to show themselves approved, as commanded by the Bible. Don't feed into this type of mess, which only confuses the church and turns the focus from the important teachings of Jesus, which is to reach the lost, not playing with words in the scripture.
