    Light, Entertaining Fantasy Romance

After reading Rogers' paranormal romance "Crux," I decided to try some of her other books. I found "Savage Passion" to be lightweight, though entertaining. Rais and Avani are interesting characters, and the religious elements of the story were well-developed. The world itself, though, was not as fully developed as it could haave been: no background was given as to who Rais and Avani's people are, where they live, or how they came to be at war with humans.

A good quick read for a rainy afternoon. -- lyradora
