More About This Book

Overview

Presented by #1 bestselling Kindle vampire author, J.R. Rain.

Compelling supernatural witch mystery with lots of humor, snappy dialogue, romance and paranormal thrills...

What do a werewolf, a missing M.C. Escher artwork and an Astin Martin convertible have in common?

They're no match for Elle Chambers.

Elle Chambers is an insurance investigator, and one who solves cases using unconventional means. Supernatural means. Elle is a witch--and a damn good one, too.

Elle has always thought she wasn't much of a witch, but she's made the most of her magic enchantress powers as an insurance investigator in Edinburgh, Scotland.

She builds barriers around her emotions, does her job, and sleeps with her seven pillows for company. She is safe and successful. Until...

Elle lands her newest case and meets a man who knows her better than she knows herself. Niall is handsome, wealthy, enigmatic, and also holds the key to everything Elle has been searching for...oh...and he may be trying to kill her.

Has Elle met her magical match?

Will she solve a crime.....or commit one?

Can she overcome her fears and discover the pleasure of...pleasure?

Is anything what it seems....or is anyone?

WITCHY BUSINESS is "Wicked fun!"

    Very enjoyable!

I really enjoyed this book. It had a different spin from most witchy books and it just made the story that much more enjoyable. The characters were easily liked and the storyline was simply enjoyable!!! Look forward to reading more!!

This story had a good base and a different twist on witches, etc

This story had a good base and a different twist on witches, etc., but depth and storyline lacked significantly.  Conversations between characters were long and drawn out unnecessarily in what seemed an effort to create rich and interesting characters, but only ended up seeming like the writing was voluminous in certain areas to make up for a lack of imagination of putting anything else in the story.  Things moved too fast and didn't really flow or make sense.  Why was Niall in town to begin with?  Did people know about supernatural beings, just some people, or none at all?  What was the purpose of the coven, the history of it, etc.? It left a lot of unanswered questions and underdeveloped characters and circumstances.  The story had great potential, but really crashed and burned.
