Grey Janeway has lost his way. With no memory connecting him to his past, he is free to start over, and there is no better place to do that than San Francisco. In the city where rebuilding is a matter of course as well as pride, Grey looks to carve out a life that suits a man with no history. Berkeley Shaw is gifted—or cursed—with the ability to see what others can’t. When Colin and Decker Thorne learn of her peculiar talent, they are desperate to hire her to find their youngest brother. Persuaded to leave Boston by the man whose use for her is always a means to an end, Berkeley arrives in San Francisco and finds herself alone for the first time in years.

When her path crosses Grey Janeway's, no second sight is required for her to recognize the end of one journey and the beginning of another. To help him, she must help herself, and the healing, she will learn, begins with her heart.

Good story by itself or part of the trilogy

This was the first Jo Goodman book I read; I didn't know it was the third in a trilogy until much later. I enjoyed it so much, I went to the library and borrowed all the Jo Goodman titles I could find. I recently saw this book on sale, found out it was part of a trilogy and bought them all for my Nook. It was easy to get immersed in the story.

Berkeley and Grey were each lost in their own way, and remade themselves. The story was funny, sad, intriguing and definitely worth a re-read. The secondary characters were interesting and also developed well.

While this was a good stand-alone read, there were a few things that had more meaning the second time through after I had read the first two books of the trilogy.

    Better than the other two

This book was without a doubt better than the other two books. Great ending

All three books in The Thorne Brothers Trilogy are well worth reading and just get better as you go along. Nearly stayed up through the night with this one. All the characters are well-defined, interesting and different with the usual love interest. The plot and characters in With All My Heart (#3) are probably the best, but it runs a close race with My Reckless Heart (#2) which in addition you can't help but love Decker Thorne. Highly recommend, if you enjoy historical romance.

Strong conclusion that could stand on its own

Enjoyed all three Thorne brothers' stories. Perhaps the best trilogy I've read for consistent good writing, strong, admirable characters and interesting settings. We need more like these.

    Aixa

I enjoyed reading this trilogy and would highly recommend reading it in order. The first few lines in Colin' s book grabbed my attention and kept me unable to put it down. These were the first books I read by Jo Goodman and I look forward to reading more of them.
