    Best Book Ever

    When I first read the details about this book I wasnt to sure. When I finaly got to reading it, I couldnt believe I was really reading a nomal piece of fiction...it was all Religious and founded on God. I loved how the author made Amanda and Luke so real. As I got futher in to the story, the more I wanted to know. I cant wait for her next one. I recommend this to Chritian girls. They should seewhat a true Christian really is.

    Good read..

    This was a good read, however, it could have turned into so much more with more work from the author. I was a little disappointed, the story line had merit but the author moved things to quickly and it made the story itself seem highly unlikely in reality! I don't know alot about rape victims with the exception of things I have heard or read, but I would honestly believe that someone who lived through an attack would have needed alot more time to cope than what the author allowed. It felt rushed throughout the book, I wish the author could have drawn the book out over the course of a year or so instead of around a month from begining to the end. Not a book I will read again :(

    Rewrite, please

    After reading mostly positive reviews, I thought this would be a great book. Yet I am highly disappointed. As a person who has to live through this trauma, the "healing" described in this book in unrealistic. Though it has been 14 years since it happened, and God has healed my heart, no woman forgets those emotions or situations. The author had a good story line, but instead of telling us about this story, she could have shown us the rawness that humans truly experience and God's awesome healing. If rewritten, it has the potential to change people's lives, but it definitley needs work.

    unrealistic

    Many short, choppy sentences; dialogue stilted-----nobody speaks so formally. Story could have been an effective telling of the power of love to conquer trauma such as the rape suffered by this book's character. However, it is unrealistic to believe that the recovery was so quick and uncomplicated.

    This was awful. The dialogue stilted and awkward. The story line should have been expanded on, but wasn't. And I hate to say something negative about an author's writing, but it wasn't so great either. Writing is not my strong suit by any means, but even I could have done better. There are simple writing rules to help one create a decent story and they clearly were not followed. My fifth grader is learning what it takes to write a story, and this book didn't even meet what the teacher has required.
