The Power of the Human Spirit

Tim Clark's memoir WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE is a truly amazing story. It is amazing in content - the fact that a man born without legs below the knees and with out a right arm below the elbow could not only 'make it' in the world, but could surpass all records of people with disabilities - but even more that a this 43 year old man has accomplished everything he set out to accomplish. And he reports all of this in a memoir that reads well because it is inspirational but also because he just happens to write well, too!

The events he has conquered and won glory for are impressive - being an active participant in athletics (wrestling, running, swimming, table tennis), graduating from college with a degree allowing him to become a successful accountant, and being an active empowerment figure in his church. He tells all of this, from his birth, through his childhood adapting to challenges few of us could imagine, to his successes in becoming a champion, with a wonderfully warm sense of humor and honesty. Tim Clark represents everything good that people long to feel in a man devoted to his God, who firmly believes that without his spiritual connection he would have never been able to become the very special man he is.

Even for readers who shy away from books that lean heavily on Christian emphasis cannot help but take another look at their own lives and see that the convictions of a man like Tim Clark hold credible validity. In an age where we doubt too much, this book is a reminder that faith is a living concept.

"With God All Things Are Possible" is Tim Clark's story. Born with one arm and no legs Tim's competitive nature helped him to lead an extraordinary life. The book combines inspiration, motivation, and detailed accounts of Tim's athletic competitions, including the disappointment of loss, and the exhilaration of victory. The chapter titled "Do You Believe in Miracles" is a must read for anyone facing "impossible hurdles," for anyone looking for an increase in faith, or a new sense of mission. Tim shares his story of triumph as an Athlete with one arm and no legs in his inspiration memoir "With God All Things Are Possible." Tim's achievements include: . Varsity Wrestling in High School and College . Competitive Table Tennis . A 50 Yard Freestyle Swim (in 45 seconds) . A 10K run without his prosthetics (completing the run in less that an hour and a half) . Winner of the prestigious KCCC Alex George Award . Highly inspirational, A great read!

Born with no legs and only one arm, Tim Clark shows the world that "With God All Things Are Possible!"

Tim Clark's life story begins with his parents raising their four children as normally as possible even though he is faced with alot of challeges concerning his disabilities. He never let that slow him down, though, in any respect. He attended public schools and college, excelled academically, and challenged himself by being involved in many sporting events. All of his accomplishments he atributes to his unfailing love and faith in God.

I knew when I saw this book that it would definitely be something that I would want to read. I enjoy inspirational stories and Tim Clark definitely does deliver one in this book. He writes very descriptively, especially the sporting events, and conveys his firm beliefs in the Lord as his very special message.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a story of life and inspiration.

This book was graciously provided to me by it's wonderful author for my honest review.

    A Must Read

This is a wonderfully inspirational book that's easy to read, and filled with attention-keeping stories of Tim's life. It's easy to see his faith in God and his faith in himself as he tackles one obstable after another. I'd recommend this to my own friends, and especially to my teenage friends who think conforming to a pattern is the most important thing in their lives. God works in His own ways!!
