Overview

With This Ring: Marriage Through the Eyes of Its Creator

A Bible study on marriage for those who want to see what God really wants.

This book is a series of Bible studies for couples, classes, and counselors to help enrich marriage relationships through consideration of God's priorities and principles. It is far from exhaustive, but its short chapters with question and answer format is valuable for personal study, counseling, and classroom discussions.

In With This Ring you will learn:

  • God's ultimate purpose for marriage
  • How couples should face decisions together
  • How to handle conflict in marriage
  • What God says about physical oneness in marriage, financial oneness, and spiritual oneness.
  • The true foundation of faithfulness in marriage
This is a discussion guide that has already proven itself in premarital and marital counseling as well as Bible studies with couples. It encourages interaction based on Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. It is topical in format, though early sessions are drawn from Genesis and are in sequence. An excellent resource for pastors preparing to preach on marriage.

Meet the Author

Gary Webb has ministered as senior pastor in four churches in Georgia and Alabama after having served as associate pastor of another church in Texas. He is a graduate of the University of the State of New York, Baptist Bible College, Luther Rice Seminary, and Andersonville Theological Seminary. He pursued additional studies at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, Abilene Christian University, and Dallas Baptist University.

Gary is a U.S. Navy retiree. He has held several denominational leadership roles. He is also a volunteer disaster relief chaplain and has many years of experience conducting substance abuse and marital counseling. Prior to coming to faith in Christ, Gary suffered several years of alcohol and drug abuse, receiving treatment in a 90-day in-patient rehabilitation program. Rehab gave temporary relief, but coming to Christ brought him the last deliverance that he still enjoys today.

Dr. Webb's first book, Free Indeed, is available through Amazon. Additional books include titles on weight loss, discipleship, and simple theology. The book, The Meaning of the Cross is available for just $0.99 on Amazon.

To contact Gary for speaking engagements or personal questions, you may email him at: gary@disciplesindeed.net.
