Another really good read from Ms. Liu. So far, all but one of the Dirk and Steele but one have been worth recommending. Bunny
PS It takes me multiple times of clicking "submit" and they receiving the "please provide a customer rating. Why it won't accept the rating the first time is a mystery. I have sent many emails requesting help with this problem and have received no satisfactory answer. Eventually I will just stop writing reviews.

I've been waiting for Eddie's story for ages, and it was worth the wait. I enjoyed Eddie and Lyssa's romance, but I also enjoyed the mystery aspect of the novel. I enjoyed finding out a little more of Eddie's history.

The only criticism of the Dirk & Steele Series is that they cannot be written fast enough. In this latest book the author explores the story of Eddie and Lyssa and their fire talents. Both have PTSD from traumatic childhoods and together learn to control their talents and explore their growing attraction to one another. It is a wonderful romance with adventure and thrills that draw the reader into the story from page one. Another great addition to the Dirk & Steele saga.

Once one reads one book from this series, it is impossible to not read the whole series. Bunny

I love the Dirk & Steel series and this was an excellent addition. Several characters from previous books make appearances here which is always nice. This is the story of Eddie, whose power over fire is still a bit out of control, and Lyssa, the woman he goes to New York to save. She's got a serious problem with a witch who has been hunting her since childhood, friends to protect from the witch's minions, and some control issues with her dragon half. The story moves fast and furious for most of the book and it's nice to finally learn more about Eddie's past. A great read from an excellent series.
