I was consumed with this book. I couldn't put it down and will definitely read it again. I definitely think this could have been exactly the way these characters were. I enjoyed the possibility that another suitor would have brought out a totally different side of Darcy. And I really enjoyed Mr Bingley in this book. I like the way he stepped up.

I have all of Abigail Reynolds Pride and Prejudice variations and each one is better than the next. Her writing style is very Jane Austen like with occasional quotes. The only thing I dont like about the books is how easily Elizabeth always come to be in love with Darcy but that is true to the original too. All in all a easy, quick romantic read.

This alternative story of Jane Austen's beloved characters in Pride and Prejudice has so much sex in it, the plot was muddied and sullied making Elizabeth and Darcy so tainted by the end of the story, leaving the reader disappointed. Pass unless you want a trite, predictable romp in dirty water.
