The book held my interest from the first page. He tells a story from history that was unbelievably evil, but it there is no self pity. His journey as a young German Jew to his position as the chief American interpreter at the Nuremberg war crimes trial is incredibly exciting and one that is so full of hope. Not to be missed by anyone who wants to know more about WWII.
