Meet the Author

Donald R. Schmitt is coauthor of two best-selling books on Roswell, one of which became the TV movie Roswell. He has appeared frequently on many TV programs including Oprah, CBS 48 Hours, and the Today Show as well as many radio shows. He resides in Hubertus, Wisconsin.

Thomas J. Carey has devoted significant portions of the last 16 years to proactively investigating the Roswell Incident, and has authored or coauthored more than 30 published articles on the subject. Carey has appeared on Larry King Live, Coast to-Coast AM with George Noory, and numerous other programs. He lives in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. Both authors were consultants for the Sci-Fi Channel's documentary, The Roswell Crash.

    A good Sum Up

    This book does a good job in summing up the Roswell Incident investigation. The authors dropped a bomb at the end with the affidavit of Walter Haut, but that has since become a very controversial piece to the story. The book is well written and covers all the bases in one fashion of another. Since the case has gone cold this is probably the best "definitive" guide to the witness testimony I have read. The conclusions are coherent and well organized. There are no substantial leas of faith asked of the reader. Just like a murder case, you get to decide if you trust the witnesses enough.

    In Search of the Space Alien Crew

    Witness to Roswell is such an exciting book. It brings an old mystery to the forefront. What happened in 1947 that caused our government to have multiple explanations of an event, that if true, is so profound to understanding ourselves in relation to the Universe. Be spellbound as you read witness accounts, information in sealed affidavits, information from families, and government officials. The book has numerous pictures of the people and places that make the recounting of this event come alive.

    This book presents new witnesses and new descriptions to the crash near Roswell 60 years ago. It is very compelling and convincing. I had decided years ago that I believed that it had been an alien crash. This book confirmed the things that I have believed to be true. Written in a very forthcoming way. If you are a doubter now, I think this book will convince you otherwise. The last chapter is worth the cost of the book.

    For the Doubters

    This well researched and well written book leaves the reader with absolutely no doubt that SOMETHING happened in New Mexico in 1947 and the government has gone to great lengths to cover it up. Even if you can't buy the idea of UFOs, this book will make you realize that there are things our government just doesn't want us to know and won't allow us to discover.
