Wow. This book is amazing(just like everything Diane writes) and I cannot reccomend it enough(though Wizards At War is better). This book deals with autism in a way I've never looked at it before, but I love it. Another masterpiece.

I'm sad that Nita's mom died in the last book, but I am excited to buy the 6th book in this series.

The 6th installment of the Young Wizards series has magic, lots of it! But it also ties in a new and interesting subject, autism. A new wizard on Ordeal has become lost, and it is up to Kit and his dog to find him. One little complication, the missing wizard is autistic. So Kit must journey into the boy's mind (kind of) and what he finds is an amazing world that truly helps you see what internal struggles people with autism must experience. The plot is complicated, but highly intriguing, with an immensely satisfying conclusion. Another masterpiece by Duane!

I am a big fan of fantasy in general. Some of these, due to the amount of fantasy novels out there, are a bit too predictable. This book is different. It has a well-conceived plot, and really shows the human sides of its characters. Ponch the dog is genuinely funny, Kit's family is entertaining, and the actions expressed in Nita's family are nothing short of heart-breaking. This book was better than the ones before it it was a lot better than the fifth one, which, seemed to me, a bit too slow. Duane's writing style make you think considerably, and it was a wonderful, easy read for all ages.

Hey this book was great don't get me wrong but it slowed me down. I had whipped through the rest of the books before it but this one took a while for me to get into. I still think you should read it just be warned.

That book was so cool! All the books by Miss Duane are awesome(that i've read). I love the way that she used Nita's pain to the advantage. It was very very cool.

These books are excellent as everyone has said, so I won't say it again. But as well as I know these books, how deep they go still catches me by surprise and takes my breath away as well as sending my mind in to a flurry of thoughts. (This especially applies to the 2nd and 5th books, but all of them as well) There is so much written between the lines as any good book should have. These are some of the best books in the world but if you're likely to be intimidated or are wary you might not be able to read all of the books, or hate them, or at the very best(which isn't very good) miss out on all that is said but isn't written. These books are filled with the truth of life and how you have to look past one thing to find the other and how someties the best answer is no where near the easiest and SO many more things that can't be put in to words and I can barely remember; that I only know are there. I hope these books land in the hands of a reader who can get as much out of it as I can. (And could help me put in to words what mmakes these books so meaningful)

I chose to read this book because I am a magic-fan. I found much more than just magic within this book. I discovered that it has plenty of drama, comedy, and also mystery with these pages. Read on...

I read this book and it was AWESOME!!!! I've read the others, too and they're great. If you liked the others, you'll like this one too. Nita is grieving her mother and Kit and Ponch are exploring something new. To find out what the Lone Power's up to, read it!

I read this book and I love it!!!! This is one of my favorite series. If you loved the other books you will love this one, too. It has plenty of suspense and (of course), the Lone Power is up to another trick.

Okay, this book was like the best one out of the series so far (besides A Wizard's Dilemma which was probably the best book). I liked the issues this book dealed with (autism and grieving) and Diane Duane has a really strong plot going for this book like all the other books in her series. I can't wait for her next book to come out!

Only a few more weeks, and it's out!!!!! I have read all the other 5 books in the series. I found them fasinating, and wonderfully written, leaving me wanting more. I can't wait for this book to be released. I am an avid book reader and have good taste in books, so if I want to read this, it says that it's good (or going to be). I read the first two chapters on a web page I found, and was already in love with it. I heard that there is going to be 3 other books in the series after 'A Wizard Alone'. I wont be able to wait for them to come out. Well thats all for now. Some authers, that have written great books, are listed below.

I have read every single book in the young wizards series so far, and they have all trapped me within the pages, not relesing me untill the story comes to an end, leaving me wanting more. So finally, Duane's new book is coming. I can't wait to hear the latest on Kit and Nita

Since this hasn't come out yet, I'll comment on the other 5 books... Great series ! Not a read for the Harry Potter crowd. More for the teens and tweens. I really enjoyed reading this. I hope Ms. Duane continues with this series.

I want this book. It hasn't even come out yet and I know it will be good, because wizardy is a captivating topic, and when the wizard uses everyday items...well, in my view it doesn't get better. Duane has a wonderful style to her writing, and I know that htis will be a good book, though I like Nita better than Kit. He get's boring and a little cocky at times.
