In this issue we have high-tech wizards, necromanticly inclined princes, court magicans and blue grass playing spell weavers from West Virginia. Issue Two of Excursions is an anthology that explores what it means to be a human being that has through study, luck or shear will gained great power.

About the Author

Robert Kevin Peterson Sr. (Bob) is from Mount Holly, New Jersey. He has four adult children (all born in wedlock) by his wife of twenty-eight years, Ruth. All the poetry in this work is based on real events in his life, with a thin veneer of fantasy pulled over it. Degrees in Theatre and History (with concentrations in English, Irish, Chinese history, and African American studies) have prepared him for his current job: housewife.

Christine Ku was born in Shanghai, China, moved to Hong Kong for primary school, and then migrated to Melbourne, Australia at the age of twelve. She has put down her roots in Melbourne: single and still living with Mum.. She goes by the name of Moonlake at her chosen writer’s home at the Citadel and blogs weekly at
moonlakefic.wordpress.com.

Cari Most is an overly ambitious dilettante writer who frequently reaches expert levels of loathing for her own work. As a result, she rarely writes unless summoned, either through dark arcane rituals on blood moons or repeated e-mails. She often draws inspiration from her experiences as both Game Master and Player in a variety of RP systems, and strives to capture a similar sense of lightheartedness and depth in her writing.

Jesse Setliffe is a fan of much of the writings of Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, H.P. Lovecraft, and Philip José Farmer. He has also absorbed a ton of roleplaying game books, giving him a knowledge base that is interesting but ultimately useless for any career except writer, religious guru, or homeless lunatic. He is currently attempting the writing thing. He also occasionally goes out to play board games.

Alexander McIntyre is from Huntington, West Virginia, and after spending a few short years on the west coast, he returned home to the Ohio River valley. He adores reading short fiction and is always looking for new periodicals and short story collections.
