This was a fun read. The first half starts you off with the wolf pack while the second half goes into Bliss's adventures to find them. There was action, mystery, suspense, and enough romance that had me bulldozing through parts 2-4 to find out what happens next. Wolf Pact definitely has me excited for Gates of Paradise.

This set of four novellas follows Bliss as she searches for the wolves, a task her mother Gabriella gave her after she became human.

Melissa de la Cruz never disappoints! She always had a way of keeping the readers on their toes during the Blue Bloods series, and this is no different. I started reading this book in-store on my nook at B&N and kept reading for the entire hour. The next day I bought the book and finished it.
I found it immediately captivating, as I liked the characters and I found their close relationships and dependance on each other to survive in the normal world endearing. Bliss enters the story about half way through after having attended Jack and Schuyler's bonding, and is met by her Aunt Jane (who turns out to be an already familiar character!). I felt that Bliss’s character always stood out a little since the problems she faced in the series were significantly different than her friends’, so I love that we get to read her story during her time out of the BB series.
(The one thing that I don't like, however, is that other fans keep referring to the hellhounds as "werewolves", which they aren’t. I don’t think anyone wants non-fans to think that the Blue Bloods series is just a knock-off of Twilight.)

While I liked learning more about Bliss and her story, this could have been told in one book. The novellas are not four seperate stories, they are four chapters of a book. Just put it in book format, the novellas format forces the consumer(reader) to pay more money. I'm tired of this nonsense. Heck, next they will make us pay by the word!

I love Melissa De La Cruz's books I'm so glad that they are aleast out on ebooks. If you have read blue bloods than you are going to love knowing what happened to Bliss and her Aunt Jane. I am a little upset because the ebooks are spilt up and seem short to me! But I can't wait to finish them all!
