Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Pursued by slavers bent on revenge, a young woman and her telepathically linked wolf join a small group of desperate travelers who are inexorably drawn to an ancient mountain sanctuary that contains the key to a lost--and forbidden--art of healing. Vivid details of wilderness survival and a strong, resourceful heroine highlight this otherwise predictable quest fantasy. For large fantasy collections.

The best fantasy book you will every read: intense in both its beauty of characters and the relationships between them and its savagery of life.

Wolfwalker is the best book I have ever read, and I am a huge fan of both sci fi and fantasy. From page one it grips you and refuses to let go. I have read this book so many times the spine broke and I had to buy a new one. Must reads are the sequels Storm Runner and Shadow Leader.

    One of the Best

At first I was a bit skeptical at how the book would turn out, but after I read the first page I was hooked. This book has suspense, adventure, and it keeps you at the edge of your seat.

    A must for any collection!

I bought this book about 8 years ago and have re-read it so many times that I had to purchase a new copy recently since my old one was falling apart from use! And I hardly ever re-read a book, but this one never looses it's charm. Well... charm may be the wrong word... it's more like epic plots, jam-packed action, in-depth characters, and scenery that will all keep you on the edge of your seat until you've finished reading the whole book in one sitting!

    A Wonderful Begining

Tara K. Harper did a wonderful job writing this book. You really understand and become attached to the characters. The plot was great and I justed loved this book. If you're looking for a great sci-fi book, this is the one.
