This was a gift for my 16 year old daughter and she loved it. It had so many wonderful pictures and a lot of great information. She has been collecting wolf stuff for many years and she said this was a wonderful addition to her collection.

This is a most excellent, simple, compelling book. The photographs are breathtaking and the text is most relevant to the subject. It is a very good introductory work but should also appeal to more knowledgeable individuals familiar with ths subject of wolves and their relationship to each other and nature. I rate it high on the aw! factor and high on the awe factor. Just generally a book worth having.

This book is a great little book with tons of pictures and wolf facts to have on an end table or coffee table. As a person who likes creatures of the woods, I like to pick the book up as I walk by sometimes and catch a few fun facts.

This book has a special place in my library. It is the 16th book I have on wolves but the easiest to review and enjoy. The pictures are heart warming and beautiful. I highly recommend this book for lovers of wolves and those who would like some positive information about them.

I happened to stumble across this wonderful book at a local B&N, and upon returning home, I paged through all the 500 something pages! These images found in this book are inspiring. Some of close up pictures of the wolves are simply mesmerizing. Any off chance I decide to open the book, I find an image of such a beauty and magnanimity that stirs the wilds of my heart; plus the added quotes/facts add a pleasant touch. I marvel at the clarity of the images and the good fortune of the photographers to get close enough to capture these rare gems. For anyone with an interest in wolves, having these images on hand is a great companion for an up-close-and-personal experience of this truly magnificent animal of the wild.
