Overview

• The book is an edited and illustrated version of the original one and includes 25 or more unique illustrations which are relevant to its content.
• The Woman's Bible, written by famous 19th Century feminist Elizabeth Cady Stanton and a "Revising Committee", is one of the first attempts by women to evaluate the Judeo-Christian legacy and its impact on women through history. Stanton concluded that 'the Bible in its teachings degrades Women from Genesis to Revelation'. However she and the other contributors found much to admire in the Bible, particularly some of the Old Testament women.

A different perspective on how women are presented, when they are even mentioned, in the Christian Bible.

I find it insulting that this is represented as a Bible study. All it seems to be is an angry woman who is a non believer. It even calls the Bible fables & says to take the Bible as we do all books and accept the good & ignore the bad. Really? That is no Bible study. It is a Bible blasting. Complete & utter rubbish!!! I got so disgusted I deleted it after a few pages.
