Read the first two chapters so far....I like most of what i read

Read the first two chapters so far....I like most of what i read...the
most contradictory thing which the author to put forward (who claims to
follow Gods rules) Is; He tell women to wait for marriage but then goes
on to say...Women need to find a man who has gotten all the Playa or
fooling around done and out of their system. So we have an inconsistant
double standard. Follow God...Women No sex...Men have all the sex you
need then get married. I believe that God wanted both Genders to
abstain. Not just women...So I have a hard time believing the author
really is selling Gods way of doing things!

    I Also Recommend:

Not too bad but not the best either.

I love reading books about relationships! This book started out no different than any other book I've read about understanding the minds of men. I do have some disagreements with the Authors suggestion to wait for sex until a female is married...and some other things. I like the way the Author expresses himself and this book is a good read for understanding the mind of a man who is speaking for 'men.' In all women should use their own minds. I love when Authors give advice about the sexes but I don't like when they speak for all. There is no written rule for what one must do. Women, use your own judgement and then use books like this as a platform. Instinct is the best indicator of determining what one should do. And that is women having the power.

Best Relationship Book I have Ever Read for the new generation of woman.

I have read them all, and many were good, but this book was amazing. This guy really brings it all back to simplicity... You can take over the world out there in the workforce, but when you get home every woman wants a man to lean on. I think this book is really for the new generation of women who are ambitious and independent, yet want to have a man to lean on an support. It taught me what my mother never did...how to keep my ambition and drive while acknowledging the nurturing feminine side of me who only wants a hug from her man at the end of the day.
And at the end of the day...the author breaks it down in simple terms, from dating to marriage, it really is all about how us women set the tone. And he does a great job of teaching us how to balance both our independent ambitious side and our sweet feminine side- they can coexist!

Deeply Disappointed - Good Ideas But Still Sells Women Short

I was quite pleased and in agreement with the general premise of the book that more women need to have enough self respect to wait for the right man before committing themselves physically and emotionally. However, the book disappointed me by completely underestimating the skills, talents and worth of women, recognizing only their domestic skills or talents and nurturing abilities. The book espouses many of the sexist views that keep women and children in poverty in the US and around the world. Women can and should have careers and businesses if they are good at what they do and men should and often do support us. Empower women to make their own money and the whole family rises. Second, the author asks women to move to a higher level in their thoughts and actions, but the language chosen is often crass and somewhat embarrassing. In sum, this book fell short of its potential.

    A Strong NOT Independent Woman

Sometimes simplicity is the best course. This book was honestly one of the best relationship/life books I have ever read. In a world where reality TV is in our face with women cursing and fighting, where women are always hearing "DO You", and "go get yours", it was so refreshing to be reminded of just how beautiful a relationship is.

This book was about how to be a strong woman, not an independent woman. and independent woman does not need a man or anyone in her life, while a strong woman wants to share her life. Its simple and basic information that we woman have forgotten because no one is speaking to us like this anymore.

In order to have a real man in your life yo must look at yourself and ask if you are a real woman. This book will remind you about the basic simple things in life that make us happy as woman. When I finished reading this book, my mindset changed and I was looking forward to a wonderful healthy relationship.

And... I will say that, this book really did a wonderful job re-teaching me how to be a woman, and I am just enjoying the lessons I learned now.

This is a great book! It gives you insight into the mines of men and how they think. It will help you to understand your man a little better and may even better your own relationship. I've learned a few things about men that really helped me see them in a different way. I¿ve shared this book with all of the women and young girls in my family.

This Book gives women thier hope back

Before reading this book I was experiencing a sense of hopelessness. With the way things are today (sex driven), I was almost tempted to go along with todays low standards when it comes to how a woman should be treated. This book validates my feelings all along, that is, I can keep my values and morals, and get a chance at getting a good man. I will reccomend this book to everyone! Ladies it will literally change your life and how you view men. We do have the power, let's take it and embrace it.

    A reviewer

Women, I encourage you to use your Power to choose another title to purchase and read. This book is poorly edited with a significant number of typographical errors. Moreover, it reads much like a rant from a disappointed lover rather than a wise well-meaning father. The author's chauvansitic views include encouraging women to abstain from sex until marriage (as indicated in the Bible) but notes that men need time to be 'playas' before committing. I believe the Bible encouraged both parties to refrain from pre-marital sex? His idea of career planning for women dictates that your decision would not be guided by interests and talent but your ability to work fewer hours and/or only from your home to insure your consistent availability to date 'successful' men, to help them with their dreams and careers, and once chosen for a wife, ultimately to raise the children and to complete household chores. I've heard more interesting, well-researched dialogue on the subject of modern day relationships sitting in my local coffee shop!
