Sara Friedrichsmeyer is a professor of German at the University of Cincinnati, Raymond Walters College, and the author of The Adrogyne in Early German Romanticism. Patricia A. Herminghouse, a professor of German at the University of Rochester, is the editor of Frauen im Mittelpunkt: An Anthology of Contemporary German Women Writers.
