A must have fresh approach for all women poets, whether novice or veteran.

WOMEN ON POETRY is a unique book that fills a void in the poetry world. It is an easy entertaining read that will inspire female poets to move their poetry to the next level. I caution you to keep a pen and paper handy to take notes or at the very least a highlighter and book marks to indicate the entries you will want to refer back to again and again. Almost any question regarding poetry is answered in the trim 274 pages of this long awaited anthology.

Molly Peacock's Foreword states these essays note poetry's impact on our lives and the difficulty poets have, especailly women poets, of being noticed by a larger world.

The editors of this book demonstrated an uncanny ingenuity as they gathered this talented group of 43 different women poets to create a balanced book on the craft of poetry for poets and poetry lovers of all levels. The different personalites of the writers kept the book interesting with their distinctive viewpoints. Proving once again that poetry breaks down walls and adds beauty ot our world.
