I selected this while my baby boy was still in the NICU - I had taken a break from the hospital in search of something to keep me busy and pass the hours while he tried to get well enough to come home. We were not in our hometown, and it had been a long haul. I browsed through some of the baby books and finally saw this one - and some of the quotes in it brought tears to my eyes... I knew it was the one - because it stresses the differences in all babies and the beauty in that! I will be giving this as a gift to all my friends who will be new moms! I feel like it highlights the important stuff, and keeps it simple enough that a new and very busy mom can complete it easily!

I purchased this book for my niece who is pregnant for the first time. Gave it to her at her baby shower earlier this month. She loved it. My Mom always had a baby book for each of us when we were born, it still have mine to this day after almost 73 years. Great book and gift idea for a newborn. I love Nancy Tillman's writings and illustrations.

I love this baby book so much! It even matches my baby boy's nursery! I just wish it went all the way until he started school (5 or 6 yrs)

This book is an excellent way to record your baby's 1st year. It's sister book (On the Night You Were Born, also by Nancy Tillman) is a great story book to ready to your baby.
