Once upon a time, there was a storybook out in the dark sea of publishing monsters...it was tossed to and fro, without a rutter and had little direction as to its true course. As fate would dictate, it was destined to hurl itself into the rocks -- crashing into the sea of forgetfulness, and soon would sink into the deepest waters. Lo and behold, a book called Woodpushers made its way to a safe place where it was edited, and the layout and story were made just right, through the faithful elves in the Land of Editing where all the magical books set out on future journeys. The book was saved just in the nick of time, and it has moved on to the shores of adoring fans who will embrace the characters and draw the heroes and heroines close to their hearts, not soon to be forgotten. This is a wonderful story that is suitable for all audiences, and it gives the world hope in the darkest of days. There are inncoent victims and trecherous forests there are villains of evil and greed, and there are dangerous turns upon every page. Woodpushers is destined to be a classic, and will become a treasured addition to any library or collection. It is illustrated by the author and is printed on high quality paper with a feel of old world nostalgia. The theme incorporates excellent values, offers suspense within each chapter, and is suitable for readers of all ages. A second volume is planned at some point in the future. *****Five stars for K.L. Novelli on her maiden voyage. Long may she sail in the land of the Woodpushers. Let's ride! Catherine Wallace Editor and Book Reviewer
