This book pulls together everyone who played a major role in the Woodstock concert in 1969 and allows them to tell the story in their own words. The interviewees weren't that far removed from the event when they did the interviews, unlike most books coming out this year, which consist of a lot of nostalgic looking back that adds nothing to the history. This account details the hard work that went into putting on the festival in a way that no other book out there does. Best history of the concert and its impact out there. Was this review helpful?
