Word Push is a unique word puzzle game - that combines
features of popular word board games that you grew up playing with.

* A sure treat for your brain, exercise your brain with this Word Game.
* App will help kids with their spelling and logic.

- Unique game play never seen in any word games on the planet.
- 100 levels to solve - each level progresses harder.
- First ten levels features friendly game walk throughs and game hints.
- Each level will challenge not only your vocabulary but your strategy.
- Balanced word game puzzle with special abilities gained from Word-manas.

The goal of the game is to remove all the gem colored letter tiles.

The gem colored letter tiles can be removed by forming a word with the gem colored tile letters selected within the word.

But! There is catch. If you choose a gem colored tile letter, you also need to choose all the same gem colored letters within your word,
otherwise your move is invalid.

Gem colored tile can be mixed with regular tiles to form a word.

You may want to ask, how is this possible, specially if the gem colored tiles are spaced out in the tile grid.

That's what makes this game challenging , fresh and engaging.

You can move the tiles, by selecting where the new letters will push from. Letter pushes can come from four directions
top, bottom, left and right

Once you select a valid word, the letters dissappear and new tiles are inserted depending on the push direction.
The board is adjusted, and the letters are maneuvered.

Strategize your word drop directions to properly align the gem tiles to form a word.

There are also two special abilities that will help you solve the puzzle.

1. You can choose a non dictionary valid word. ( by choosing all the tiles of the same letter, as long as the tiles are adjacent to each other)
2. You can choose two letter valid words.

These special abilites are acquired as you progress along the level, by forming words and maneuving the gem tiles.
You will acquire word-manas, each special ability will require certain mana value.

    Lives up to the description

The description of this one intrigued me, so i took a chance. Excellent game, cleverly thought-out and fun to play. It gets increasingly challenging as you go on, when you have to connect more than one tile to complete the level, which is where the "push" factor comes in: you can choose which direction ( top, bottom, left or right) you want the new letters to appear in, to make it possible to form a word using said necessary same-colored tiles. I've had to play just one level over so far, but i have a feeling this will happen a little more often as I progress, which is cool, love the challenge.

    Fun and challenging!

An interesting, unique twist to Scrabble-type games. This game can be either a simple pass-the-time activity or a real challenge for both space management and vocabulary. The directions are minimal but it is fairly easy to figure out. I like it because I'm rewarded for taking my time to figure things out before I start playing.

After level 50 the game starts to get very challenging. If I'm just passing the time, I'll play the same lower level over and over.

A few hints: 1) You are rewarded more for finishing than for big words. I use a lot of three letter words. 2) Diagonals work. 2) Use 'mana' points to eliminate groups of three-of-a-kind letters. Letters are in the same ratio as Scrabble, so it's easy to get three i's touching each other

    Meh

Not very thrilling. Kinda pointless. Maybe I'm missing something.

Game instructions are very poor. Not sure whether you try to get as many words as possible or just aim to make one word with color letters as quickly as possible. I just don't see how I get high scores.

I'm happy to check these reviews in the hope someone will post useful instructions. Anyone?

    Entertaining

I love to play this game. It is definitely addicting. My grandchildren, age 9, also love to play it. The only reason it is not getting a 5 star rating is that I cannot shut it down. The close button is located over arrow button, therefore,I have to shut down my nook, which is an inconvience.

    Word Push

Very thought provoking and fun. This game challenges the mind and makes you think under the pressure of a time limit. I would have prefered a little more information in the directions, but other than that its an enjoyable app.

    GREAT WORD GAME!!

I enjoy word games and gave this one a shot. It's lots of fun and keeps you busy trying to find words, but also try to line up the colored tiles to make a word connection. This part can get tricky. I didn't quite understand the part about moving/changing letters with your points, but I do now after reading another review. :) I like playing in the more relaxed setting for now. Good for memory and solving problems. Well worth the 99 cents!!

    Can't tell how it scores

It's fun but there doesn't seem to be any options and I have no clue how it scores, so it's hard to come up with a strategy.

Challenging and addicting word game! Every level gets harder so it is never boring. I like that it's also timed. Definitely worth the money.

    Time

I really like this game. The push direction is necessary at the higher levels. My suggestion is to add a pause button which also hides the screen.

It can be difficult to find 15 uninterupted minutes, and it is very frustrating to play for 10-12 minutes and forfeit.
