About the Author

Andrew Boyd is a two-time kidney transplant recipient who looks at the world in a way that gave him perspective as to how his life would be shaped due to his medical experiences, as well as helping others by exuding inspiration and compassion to those around him.

A graduate of the Class of 1996 from Germantown-Lankenau Motivational Program Annex, Andrew's writing prowess was born in the 10th Grade, and continued on while attending Arcadia University in 1996. After a writing hiatus in 1997, a trip to New York City in March 2010 reignited his passion for writing. As Andrew posted several of his writings on Social Media Outlets, he also performed Spoken Word Poetry in Philadelphia and the New York area.


Weeping Faith


I am Simply Human:
Trying my hardest to make it in the World.
I am armed with
Words, a Computer, and a Lot of Faith.
Tears hit My Hands as each word
Is formulated onto My Computer Screen,
Showing My Passion, Trust, Hope, and Faith
In each letter as it is bored
And imprinted onto the virtual paper.
Within minutes, another Work of Art is Born;
Put into the outbox temporarily
In Hopes that it will be read one day.
Sales matter not to me,
Just my messages in my heartfelt poetry
As they go into My Books for those to see.

Born from the Tears, Love, Determination, and Compassion
Of a Simple Man who holds Great Potential
That houses Strength to Move Forward in Life.
My Faith is My Heart; something that can never be disputed.
