Meet the Author

Dr. Jeff Paxton lives in Russellville, Arkansas, where he serves as the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dover. In his time away from church work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, Marci, and their two children, Austin and Ashley. He also operates Paxton's Portraits and Projects, a small business from his home that primarily consists of Christian scrollwork and personal portraits cut in wood. He also sells his scrollwork in two booths at a local Collector's Gallery Craft Mall and, as time permits, works several craft shows throughout the year. This is his first book for Fox Chapel Publishing Company.

This fall I made several of Dr. Paxton's patterns for Christmas gifts and have received more feedback in one month than I received in the last three years. These are patterns that even a beginner can make.

Excellent Book For Scrollers Of All Levels

This book of scroll saw patterns uses the Scripture in every pattern, with some pretty amazing artwork as well. There is a section on Scripture Word Art along with instructions on making a Bible box. There are patterns for all skill levels. When completed, each project will have a message that will comfort, inspire, or encourage those who receive it. I have many of these in my home, and also have sold many of these pattern projects in craft shows, and at a local craft mall. They are very popular. If you want to bless others with your scroll saw work, then this is the book for you. You will not be disappointed.
