About the Author

Born and raised in New York City, William Diep is an advocate for youth, educational, and racial justice. He founded Virus: Racism, a youth-led campaign aiming to raise awareness of the discrimination against the Asian-American community, especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in March 2020. He is also a member of Teens Take Charge, a youth-led organization fighting for educational equity in the New York City public school system. Outside of activism, William loves traveling, public speaking, and trying new foods and iced coffees with his friends.
