Ernest Hemingway was the Nobel Prize winning author from America. His economical and understated prose style greatly influenced the 20th century fiction. "The Old Man and the See", "For Whom the Bell Tolls", "A Farewell to Arms" are some of his best fiction works. His laconic style has been able to retain its charm even today.
Some of the lines which he used so precisely in his novels have become popular quotations today, and very often writers and scholars quote his lines in their speeches or works. He lived a life full of adventures, and it gave him enough opportunities to meet different people from different parts of the world.
In the present book there are hundreds of his statements, remarks, and quotations which reflect his genius and wisdom.
