About the Author

This book is written and illustrated by Amanda Dale-Lopez. Mom, wife, advocate, and now author. Words You Can’t Hear is a story inspired by her son Anthony, who was diagnosed with Autism in 2023.
She also the creator of THE FOODIE FEST- A festival to help support Autism Awareness and Acceptance in Hoboken, NJ. Through this book, she want to show kids that you don’t have to fully understand Autism to be kind and accepting of someone who is different from you.
Her hope is that this book helps foster understanding, inclusion, and a world where every child feels seen and valued.
