Frederic William Henry Myers (1843-1901) was a British poet, historian, and scholar whose interest in psychic phenomena led to his presidency of the Society for Psychical Research. His posthumously published Human Personality and its Survival of Bodily Death (1903) presented a theory of the unconscious that later influenced Carl Jung.
