Work Hard-Never Give Up
At the age of twenty two, I was offered a teaching position as a physical education/English teacher and basketball coach at Overbrook High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where one of my players was Wilt Chamberlain who later became the best basketball player in the world. I then coached basketball and taught English at Upper Moreland High School in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, for fifteen years.

After that, I was the principal at Tredyffrin/Easttown Junior High School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. which culminated in meeting President Ronald Reagan in the Rose Garden since our school was selected as one of the most outstanding junior high schools in the country.

I retired as a principal and became a part time instructor in the Philadelphia Community College. During that time, I coached basketball at William Tennent High School for ten years.

After that, coaching Archbishop Carroll ninth grade girls for six years was my next challenge. In 1999, I was selected to coach a United States Maccabiboys basketball team in Scotland. We won the Gold Medal for our country.

I have written the following books:

Mr. Principal, Your Activity Period Sucks It All Began With Wilt And What About the Children

The awards that I have received over these many years have been warmly accepted, but the satisfaction of helping thousands of young people achieve their goals can never be measured in any terms.
