The book is inconsistent in presenting fighting organizations across the main belligerents. The description of land formations is weak. There are no details of organization below division level. The information on air and sea formations is next to useless. The book minimally describes a few major weapons systems and omits many.
The statistical information on individual countries is a little better, but a reader should not count on this book as a primary source in any category.

I found this book to be a excellent Basic Stats & Facts regarding the Axis and Allies in WW II. It is a good basic reference book which covers the Armies, Battles, Hardware, Weapons, etc etc of all the Axis and Allie units. Its not a complete and exact fact and stat book but a good basic and worthy of its place in the Military Historical library. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
